In Delhi's heart, choked artery causes severe pain

It’s a bumpy ride for some 50,000 commuters who travel daily between Supreme Court Metro station and Oberoi Flyover on the busy Mathura Road. While the entire length of 3.3km is riddled with potholes, the ongoing construction work near Pragati Maidan further reduces the width of the road. The entire journey, which should typically take less than 10 minutes, often lasts nearly half an hour, resulting in frayed tempers.
